Job Description

Position Details:

• Shift: Day/Evening Shifts | Open to 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekly Pay Rate: $2000 - $2240

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and complex laboratory procedures in all assigned areas of the lab.
• Collect, process, and analyze biological specimens in a timely and accurate manner.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration and quality control procedures.
• Report critical test results promptly and accurately to healthcare providers.
• Participate in proficiency testing and ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, and other regulatory standards.
• Assist in training new personnel and students as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all performed procedures.
• Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
• License: Current New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License (REQUIRED).
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Technologist.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Travel & Local Considerations:

• Candidates outside a 60-mile radius qualify for travel pay.
