Job Description

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for efficiently managing accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment to vendors, and maintaining financial records. 

• Ensure payments are made on time and accurately.

• Reconcile payment records with bank statements. 

• Receive and review invoices for accuracy and completeness. 

• Code and enter invoices into accounting system. 

• Verify appropriate approvals for payment. 

• Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies or issues. 

• Maintain organized and up to date accounts payable records. 

• Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing process. 

• High school diploma or GED required. 
• At least 1 year of Accounts Payable experience. 
• Ability to operate a 10 key calculator, computer, scanner and photocopy machine.
• Must understand basic accounting skills and possess good telephone and filing skills. Must have the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Minimum age requirement is 18.
